Candy Bar Ice Cream

Do you watch TV? I do. A lot.

Aside from Doctor Who, some of my favorite shows that are currently on the air are sitcoms. I really like Community, The Office, New Girl, Parks and Recreation, and The League. Have you seen any of them? If not, you should.

Community – Great cast. My favorite characters are Troy and Abed.

The Office – I really hope Andy and Erin end up together.

New GirlZooey Deschanel is my girl crush.

Parks and Recreation – Love Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, and Aziz Ansari.

The LeagueFunny, funny stuff. Crazy that a lot of the show is not scripted.

Give these shows a try.

And while you’re watching them you can eat some ice cream.

Candy bar ice cream.

Freakin’ Awesome Friday: Mindy Kaling

Image from tvfanatic.com

You may recognize Mindy Kaling from her role as Kelly Kapoor on the hit NBC show The Office. But did you know that she also writes, directs and is a co-executive producer for the show? So multi-talented. But wait. There’s more. Have you seen the Subtle Sexuality videos? Hilarious.

Mindy also co-wrote a play with Brenda Withers called Matt and Ben. Matt and Ben is about when Matt Damon and Ben Affleck write stumble upon the screenplay for Good Will Hunting. Even if you’re not really into reading plays, give this one a try. It’s comedy gold.

If you aren’t already following her on Twitter, you should. Funny shtuff.

Mindy Kaling, you are freakin’ awesome.
