Ready for some kind-of-random-but-not-really stuff? Good.
Last month I said goodbye to my favorite Doctor Who companion, Clara Oswald. It’s kind of embarassing, but I totally balled my eyes out at the end of Face the Raven. I related to Clara so much and loved her relationship with Twelve (who has become my favorite Doctor). I’m hoping for a comic or graphic novel featuring her adventures with Me to come out.
I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Twice. Okay, guys, I wasn’t a die hard Star Wars fan prior to this movie, but I loved it. Rey is awesome. I want a BB-8. And #FinnPoe4Eva.
My youngest started reading. My husband and I haven’t been teaching her. I think she’s been learning how to read from PBS shows.
She wants to be an astronaut when she grows up. Her sister wants to be an ice cream tester.
Parks & Rec is still one of my favorite shows to binge watch.
I made a pie. It looked horrible but tasted really good.
I’m planning a summer adventure for my family. It’s stressful (figuring out lodging and transportation costs is a big fat bummer) but it’s fun to look up things we might be able to see, do, and eat.
