Last week my family and I spent five days at The Happiest Place on Earth* to celebrate (a little early) my husband’s and my 10 Year Wedding Anniversary.
Why Disneyland? Well, because it really is a magical place. I know that sounds kinda corny, but to me, it’s completely true. When I walk through the entrance and stroll down Main Street, I feel like I’m a kid again. It just makes me so happy. And I wanted to be able to share this with my girls before they got too much older. Before they stopped believing in all the magic.
Last week Wednesday I shared with you all our possible plans to take a Disney trip next year. Then on Friday I wrote a slightly emotional piece about not being able to afford it. Well, I think I’m not going to totally give up on Disney World just yet. Who knows? Maybe Santa will be extra generous this year. But if we can’t make Florida happen, I’m totally okay with going to Disneyland. Cars Land looks pretty awesome.
If adequate funds allow, we’re thinking of surprising our daughters with a trip to either Disneyland or Disney World next year. My hubby and I actually visited Disneyland for our 1st Year Wedding Anniversary*. It was my first time there.
