I have it bad. I’m constantly looking up different places to explore. Places where I’m out of my element but happy about it. Places that offer a whole new world of foods to try.
The urge to travel.
It’s in my bones.
But, I have to say, there’s nothing quite like being home.
Sometimes we fall into an abyss of consuming all the horrible things going on in the world. But just remember that there is still good being done. There are still people striving to make things better. There is hope.
Relish in the things that make you happy. The moments that bring a smile to your face. Celebrate all the joy that is present.
Take time every day to look for the light.
It’s totally worth it.

How are you all doing? It’s been kind of a crazy week since He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named was officially inaugurated as POTUS. My heart breaks for those who are hurting from the Muslim ban. Have we not learned from our mistakes? C’mon America. Wake up.
