The holidays came and went. I ate. I watched Elf. I adulted. My husband got me this. He gets me.
My family and I watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Was it perfect? No. But I really enjoyed it. The visuals left me in complete awe. And I left the theater feeling so many different things. I want to watch it again.
How have you all been? Even with the world in complete chaos, I’m still happy that it’s the holidays. I don’t really care about getting any gifts but I love giving them. I enjoy the smell of cookies and breads baking. The twinkling lights make me smile. It’s the warm hug of seasons.
Do you guys watch This is Us? I cry at least once during every episode. For reals. Every. Single. One.
I’ve been binge listening to the One Bad Mother podcast. I went all the way back to the beginning. It is amazing. I highly recommend it to any parent, caregiver, nanny, and even if you don’t have kids. It’s so funny and heartfelt. Just FYI: They swear. A LOT.
I couldn’t put Crazy Rich Asians down. So, so good. Can not wait to see the movie.
My 8-year-old has been wanting me to hold her hand when we walk to school and I am completely indulging her. I will take any moment that she actually wants me around because I know those moments will disappear in the blink of an eye.
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday season!

We’ve got some catching up to do so why don’t we just dive right in?
Did you guys see Spider-Man Homecoming? So much fun.
Also, go see Baby Driver. Edgar Wright is a genius.
Jodie Whittaker is the 13th Doctor! I loved her in Attack the Block and Broadchurch.
