Bonjour mes amis!
How are things?
I’ve been doing tons of research for our upcoming family adventure. I think I’ve saved over twenty food places for one of the cities that we’ll be in for less than 36 hours. I’m nothing if not ambitious.
I want to watch The Walking Dead season finale on Sunday but I also don’t. Because Negan.
I hope Supergirl and The Flash do more crossover episodes.
Zootopia. Wow. Just wow.
Jordandené has a Hamilton shirt for sale!!!
Everyone needs to see Emma Watson beatbox while Lin-Manuel Miranda raps.
Much love, bacon, and sprinkles,
Ready for some kind-of-random-but-not-really stuff? Good.
Last month I said goodbye to my favorite Doctor Who companion, Clara Oswald. It’s kind of embarassing, but I totally balled my eyes out at the end of Face the Raven. I related to Clara so much and loved her relationship with Twelve (who has become my favorite Doctor). I’m hoping for a comic or graphic novel featuring her adventures with Me to come out.
I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Twice. Okay, guys, I wasn’t a die hard Star Wars fan prior to this movie, but I loved it. Rey is awesome. I want a BB-8. And #FinnPoe4Eva.
My youngest started reading. My husband and I haven’t been teaching her. I think she’s been learning how to read from PBS shows.
She wants to be an astronaut when she grows up. Her sister wants to be an ice cream tester.
Parks & Rec is still one of my favorite shows to binge watch.
I made a pie. It looked horrible but tasted really good.
I’m planning a summer adventure for my family. It’s stressful (figuring out lodging and transportation costs is a big fat bummer) but it’s fun to look up things we might be able to see, do, and eat.
How are things going with you?

You know when you find something that you like so much that you can’t help but tell everyone about it? That’s how I feel about the cast album for Hamilton. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to see this musical on stage but I have been listening to the album at least once a day. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing it is.
