A Saturday Morning

Don’t know what I’d do without these guys

A cool, almost chilly, breeze came in through our window, giving me another reason to want to stay in bed all day long. The first reason being our super comfortable Star Wars bed sheets.*

Five more minutes and then I’ll get up.

Okay, maybe fifteen.

Life Lately

Hello hello!

How have you all been? Even with the world in complete chaos, I’m still happy that it’s the holidays. I don’t really care about getting any gifts but I love giving them. I enjoy the smell of cookies and breads baking. The twinkling lights make me smile. It’s the warm hug of seasons.

Do you guys watch This is Us? I cry at least once during every episode. For reals. Every. Single. One.

I’ve been binge listening to the One Bad Mother podcast. I went all the way back to the beginning. It is amazing. I highly recommend it to any parent, caregiver, nanny, and even if you don’t have kids. It’s so funny and heartfelt. Just FYI: They swear. A LOT.

I couldn’t put Crazy Rich Asians down. So, so good. Can not wait to see the movie.

My 8-year-old has been wanting me to hold her hand when we walk to school and I am completely indulging her. I will take any moment that she actually wants me around because I know those moments will disappear in the blink of an eye.

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday season!
