Bonjour mes amis!
A few weeks ago, after realizing that we wouldn’t be able to go to Paris (my favorite city) for our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary, we started talking about the possibility of doing a Disney trip. I’m not sure how we came up with the idea, but just the thought of it made me smile. Since we had already been to Disneyland, I had my heart set on going to Disney World.
I was looking forward to checking out Princess Fairytale Hall, Cinderella’s Castle, and Epcot. I started scouring the internet for hotel deals. I read blog post after blog post on where to eat, how far in advance we should make reservations for character breakfasts, what type of park tickets we should buy, etc.
I did some number crunching yesterday and it turns out that we just don’t have the money to make the Disney World trip happen.* I desperately wish we could, but we can’t. I’m pretty bummed about it. I may have shed a tear or two or twenty. There is a small possibility we could still go to Disneyland, but you know how it is when you have your heart set on something, anything else pales in comparison.
*Sigh* I promise, my next post will be more upbeat.
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
Much love, bacon, and sprinkles,

*If Publishers Clearing House shows up at my doorstep with a check for $5000, we are most definitely going to visit Mickey in Florida.
