My Mom’s Butter Mochi

I love traveling.

But when I’m not traveling (which is like 99% of the time), I’m pretty much a homebody. I love the comfort of my own home. I love baking and cooking in my kitchen. I love being able to wear the same shorts three days in a row.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy going to a restaurant every now and then. I do. I also like volunteering and going thrift store shopping. But most days I prefer hanging out with my hubby rewatching Doctor Who, Sherlock, or catching up on Youtube shows.

How about you? Are you a social butterfly? Or are you a homebody like me?

  1. I love butter mochi! I’ve been wanting a recipe for the longest time! During Japanese street fairs, some booths sell butter mochi, but not many. You have to hunt/search for them.

I’m really introverted and quiet, I love being by myself and in my own apartment alone for hours, even days. I don’t do well with crowds and parties. At all. I get incredibly overwhelmed!

    1. I love that at home you can lounge around in whatever clothing you want. I do love getting dressed up some times but most days I just love wearing things that are just a notch above pajamas. 🙂
